Volunteer

Our volunteers help us to provide food and practical support to people left without enough money to live on.

Volunteers make a difference in the local community across a range of roles, including boosting donations, packing food parcels, providing a warm welcome, tackling loneliness, signposting to additional services, connecting with partners, raising awareness and leading projects.

Volunteer roles

All volunteer positions are now advertised and applied for via the Trussell website. Please do not contact Lambeth & Croydon Foodbank directly. If you are interested in volunteering with Lambeth & Croydon Food Bank, please click the link below.

Volunteer Delivery Driver

We are looking for a Volunteer Delivery Driver, using your own vehicle. You will need a clean driving licence and access to a car which is fully insured with a valid MOT. Alternatively, if you cycle and have access to a cargo bike and wish to volunteer as a cycle delivery driver, we would encourage you to apply.

Please note: the driver role involves a degree of lifting and carrying so volunteers will need good fitness levels.
