Summer campaign - pre-filled donation bags at Tesco!

Our summer pre-filled bags campaign ran from Monday 20th July  for six weeks at participating Tesco stores - Brixton, Streatham, Clapham South, Thornton Heath and Purley.

Volunteers had already filled bags with items the Foodbank needs, so that you could pick one up, pay for it at the checkout then drop it into the collection box as you left the store. The price of the items was written on the bag - between £2 and £4. 

Thank you so much to all the Tesco shoppers who participated - you have made such a difference to our stocks of supplies to give out to people who need them.

Our collection boxes are permanently in those Tesco stores and we need supplies all year round so please try to pick up an extra item - tins, packets, nappies etc - when you shop and drop it into the box. Thank you for anything you can donate - we greatly appreciate it!
