Recipe – Boston Style Beans
1 onion diced or 100g frozen onion
2 cloves garlic crushed
400g Tin of Baked Beans
400g Tin of tomatoes
½ tsp Paprika
1 tsp Vinegar
170g tinned pork or ham
Tip the baked beans into a saucepan and bring to a medium heat.
Add the onion, garlic, paprika, vinegar and tomatoes and stir well.
Meanwhile, grate or chop the ham and pop in the pan with the bean mixture and cook on a gentle heat for 10 minutes.
Check the beans, if they need more liquid add a splash of water and cook for a further 10 minutes.
